James "Jay" Lewis founded Absaroka in 2022 after 15 years of agency recruiting experience with both a large, publicly traded search firm and most recently a boutique search firm based out of Washington, DC. After visiting a friend in 2013 he fell in love with the Last Best Place and decided to move his life and Golden Retriever to Bozeman. He continued to work remotely until forming Absaroka in 2022. Outside of the office Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Kelley, two girls, Prater and Emmylou, and their Springer Spaniel, Bruce, and Golden Retriever, Willis. You'll find them on the water, skiing, hiking, camping, and running. ​​
